Hydrophobic polyester fibres with 1mm pore size.
• Prevents granulation tissue from penetrating the dressing, minimising pain and trauma on removal
• Allows the flow of exudates and air
• Silver ions are kept within the dressing, where they bind to and destroy bacteria. Due to the restriction of silver ion release, cytoxicity is very low.
Neutral triglyceride impregnation
• Does not contain Vaseline or paraffin, leaving the wound residue free
• Keeps wound margin soft and supple, avoiding scar tissue contraction.
